A True Face WhoKnew? Campaign

In May 2013, Florida State Representative Kathleen Peters met with our creative team and faculty of The Art Institute of Tampa to discuss an apparent disconnect between the average citizen’s vision of the homeless and the real causes and effects of homelessness. The challenge for our creative team was to develop an awareness campaign aimed at addressing this disconnection. The focus of the campaign was to present an interesting fact from the state of Florida contrasted with the average number of homeless children, families, and veterans in the state. The imagery peaks the viewers’ attention and then shocks them with a disturbing fact about the current state of homelessness in Florida.
